Willow Tree Planting

Over the next two years, we will be planting 6,500 native willow trees to restore vital habitat, improve water quality, and create a healthier, greener space for our community. Our first harvesting and planting event is October 10th and 11th.

We cannot do this alone, and that’s where we hope you’ll join us. Your skills, tools, and community spirit align perfectly with this effort. Here are a few ways you can help:

• Donate or loan tools – digging bars, pile drivers, gloves, or any retired equipment your team no longer uses.

• Team-building volunteer days – bring your crew out for a hands-on day planting trees along the river. We can accommodate your schedule!

• In-kind support or sponsorships – helping cover project costs or providing materials.

Your support will directly impact our ability to meet this ambitious goal and leave a lasting legacy for the San Diego River and our community.
