Sponsor and Vendor Information
We are inviting Lakeside’s local clubs, organizations and businesses to join us in providing a wonderful Christmas event in Lakeside to attract and delight people of all ages! We are offering an opportunity for your group or business to set up a booth for entertainment, games, craft projects, or to sell your wares.
Our focus will be on providing Lakeside children a fun time. Please fill out this form listing your planned activity. Renting a booth space includes:- Space is approximately 10’ x 10’
- Participants set up their own booths including canopies, lighting, extension cords, tables, chairs and any other supplies needed. We ask that all vendors provide an activity, craft, or other fun attraction for the children. It is optional to participate in the 2023 theme: All Aboard the Polar Express
- Set-up time begins 12:00pm on Saturday, December 2nd
- ELECTRICAL
- Bring your own extension cord and surge protector.
- Please use LED lights as much as possible (as opposed to halogen lights).
- You will need to bring your own electrical pigtails or borrow from the Chamber booth on Lakeshore & Maine for a deposit of $20.
- You will need to bring your own source of light to ensure that your booth is well lit and battery-operated lighting after the event for breakdown. Electricity is provided but not guaranteed after 7:30pm.
- Your booth must be staffed from 3pm to 7:30pm.
- Takedown begins no earlier than 7:30pm
- Your application must be approved by our Christmas Committee.
- Restrictions:
- Any characters or friends from the North Pole must be communicated to the Lakeside Chamber.
- No giving or selling of food or beverage products without a San Diego County approved Mobile Health Permit. All Health Department forms must be signed and returned back to the Chamber office no later than Nov. 16th, 2023.
- 12:00pm - Roads shut down and vendor setup may begin
- 1:00pm - Majority of vendor setup begins
- 3:00pm - Event, activities & entertainment begins
- 4:20pm - Maine Avenue clears for Santa's arrival
- 4:30pm - Santa arrives!
- 5:00pm - Tree Lighting Ceremony
- 7:30pm - Breakdown & cleanup of event
