• Events Committee

The Lakeside Chamber hosts three time-honored traditions which include:  Western Days Parade, Spirit of Christmas and Touch-A-Truck. These three annual events have unique purposes and missions and help unite the community while increasing awareness of our businesses and industries. They take year-round planning but experience has taught us that with many hands, the load will be light. This committee meets at least once a month for strategic planning and as needed to ensure each event is successful.

  • Government Affairs Committee (GAC)

The mission of this committee is to provide a platform for the Lakeside Chamber to act on Local, State and Federal Government issues, thus creating a favorable and profitable business climate in our region. The committee will establish and maintain a good working relationship with its elected officials, advocate for actions and outcomes that are of direct benefit to the chamber’s members.  The GAC Committee meets quarterly (or as needed) on the 4th Tuesday evening of the quarterly month.

  • Outreach Committee

This dedicated team of members raises awareness in support of the Lakeside business Community. They may work together as a team or work individually.  Watch your network grow as you engage with Community leaders, residents and fellow business associates while volunteering for networking events and other Community supported programs. The committee meets on an “as needed” basis and your commitment is matched to your schedule.  Invest in your passion through the following areas:  Mixers, Ambassadors, Volunteers and Workforce development.

  • Ambassador Program

It is the Mission of the Ambassadors to act as the Public Relations Arm of the Lakeside Chamber of Commerce while promoting an atmosphere of GOODWILL among Chamber Members, the Business Community and the Community the Chamber serves.

  • Lakeside Chamber Ambassadors are volunteers from the Community who serve as the welcome committee for new members and act as public relations liaisons at the networking and social events sponsored by the Chamber. They energize and engage the Chamber Membership and help members understand that the more they are involved, the greater the return will be for their businesses. They participate in high-visibility networking and are often the first Chamber members to learn of new programs and events being introduced. Chamber Ambassadors receive an Ambassador name badge and shirt and attend quarterly meetings.
