Photo Contest at Lake Jennings

Theme: Sunrise to Sunset

Capture the beauty of the lake from the first light of dawn to the final glow of dusk. Our “Sunrise to Sunset” Photo Contest invites photographers of all skill levels to showcase the changing moods, colors, and moments that unfold throughout the day at the lake.

From misty morning reflections and wildlife waking with the sun, to vibrant midday activity and the golden hues of evening, every hour offers a new perspective. Whether you’re using a professional camera or your phone, we encourage you to share the scene as you see it.

Who can enter?
Open to photographers of all ages and experience levels. Prizes awarded in youth (17 and under) and adult categories.

GUIDELINES:

• Submission Deadline: May 1, 2026
• How to Enter: Complete the Photo Submission Form on www.lakejennings.org and upload up to 3 photos.
• Judging Criteria: A panel of Helix Water District employees will judge photos based on creativity, originality, and how well the photo aligns with the “Sunrise to Sunset” theme.

Photographers are eligible for a free day use pass during the contest period. Please register for the contest at the bait and tackle shop or at the campground kiosk.
