    Our Lakeside, CA location is seeking a Diesel Mechanic who will be responsible for providing service to our customers while maintaining exceptional customer service. This will include – but not be limited to - Preventive maintenance, visual inspection, computer & mechanical diagnostics, and removal of parts and attachments on heavy trucks and equipment.
    We work on a large variety of makes and models of trucks, equipment, and engines; including but not limited to: Kenworth, Peterbilt, International, Hino, Isuzu, Ford, Cummins, Freightliner as well as equipment including but not limited to: CASE, CAT, and HYSTER.
    You will play an essential role in delivering on our commitment to our customers to gain their loyalty by providing exceptional service and care to them and their equipment.

    • Perform routine and preventative maintenance services.
    • Perform BIT inspections and correctly identify deficiencies.
    • Identify worn and damaged parts (all parts to include major components such as engines and transmissions, repairing, adjusting, or replacing as needed.
    • Maintain vehicle records by annotating services and repairs.
    • Maintain safe and organized work area; keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventative maintenance, and calling for repairs.
    • Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
    • Read job orders, observe, and listen to vehicles in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
    • Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, and make further adjustments as needed.
    • Tag all warranty parts and return to warranty clerk.
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction.
    • Proficient in the repair of one or more of the following: diesel engines; power train to include differentials, transmissions, clutches, and drive shafts; electrical systems, HVAC systems, hydraulic systems, steering systems, and brakes
    • Proficient in use of all tools of the trade
    • Basic computer skills to input vehicle maintenance records and diagnosis equipment
    • Ability to meet physical demands of the job (job requires frequent lifting/moving up to 50lbs, climbing, stooping, kneeling, seeing, grasping, hearing, etc.)
    • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
    Must have your own tools and reliable transportation.
    This position is Full Time; 8am-6pm, Monday – Friday. Weekends and Overtime will be requested occasionally.
